Data Science Workshops Open to All Students

GRiD (Graduate Researchers in Data) and GWIS (Graduate Women in STEM) are hosting two four-week free workshop series on data analysis: one teaching Python, one teaching R. Each workshop session will build on previous ones, but you need not attend all of them. Both series will cover the same data science topics.

Participants will receive hands-on coding experience interwoven with demonstrations by experienced graduate student programmers. Python and R workshops will be held in different rooms, but at the same time and will share a topic focus each week.

All graduate students are welcome and no prior programming experience is necessary. The workshops are completely free to attend - you only need to bring a laptop. Please remember to fully charge your laptop, as we cannot guarantee access to an outlet.

Registration

If you’re interested in attending, please fill out the registration form. Last minute attendees will be accepted, but if you want food, you must pre-register!
